SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Twickenham)

About the role
We are recruiting compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools across Twickenham and Richmond upon Thames. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to support pupils with additional needs in inclusive classroom settings.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist with classroom learning activities and encourage pupil engagement.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
- Help with day‑to‑day classroom tasks and routines.
Required profile
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Patient, reliable and adaptable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Committed to pupil development.
- Holder of a DBS check or willing to obtain one.
