SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (Full‑Time)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary schools in Harlow. The role supports pupils with Special Educational Needs across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them achieve academic and social progress.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Assist pupils in accessing classroom activities, break times and extracurricular events.
- Support behaviour management, emotional regulation and independence.
- Monitor progress and give feedback to teachers and SENCOs.
- Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, numeracy and literacy as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year experience working with children in a school, nursery, youth work or similar setting.
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
