About the role
Reeson Education is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in primary schools across Waltham Forest, East London. The role offers the chance to make a real difference in inclusive classroom settings and works closely with teachers and SENCOs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist small groups of students as required.
- Work with children who have autism, ADHD and SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.
Required profile
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting SEN pupils.
- Patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Availability to start immediately.
