About the role
Join a secondary school in Enfield as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. You will work directly with pupils who have autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group interventions tailored to individual requirements.
- Adapt learning activities to promote independence and confidence.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
- Monitor and record student progress and outcomes.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
- Caring, patient and flexible approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
