About the role
The Supply Register Ltd, in partnership with STEP Academy Trust, is seeking compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a range of South London primary schools. This full‑time or part‑time position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to make a real difference in a supportive trust environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities.
- Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and independence.
- Help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school setting (essential).
- Experience working with a range of additional needs.
- Patient, proactive and caring approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
