About the role

We are looking for a proactive and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in Plymouth. This full‑time temporary position offers the chance to make a daily impact on children with complex needs, supporting inclusive education and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASD, SEMH and physical needs, providing tailored assistance.
• Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes that meet individual requirements.
• Use creative approaches to engage and motivate students, enhancing their learning experience.
• Provide emotional regulation and behavioural support to help students manage challenges.

Required profile

• Experience in care, support work or SEN education with children who have complex needs.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Proven capability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
