SEN Teaching Assistant – Supply Cover (Full‑Time/Temporary)

About the role

Join a dedicated team of SEN Teaching Assistants supporting pupils across schools in Milton Keynes. You will work on a supply basis, providing flexible, full‑time coverage for children with a range of special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering personalised learning for pupils with SEN.
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties and complex needs.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment and help pupils build confidence.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual education plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and external professionals as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs.
• Patient, calm and resilient attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Commitment to making a genuine difference each day.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and classroom support techniques.
