About the role
This full‑time position supports a secondary‑school student with complex medical and physical needs. You will work within a dedicated SEN team to provide personalised, wrap‑around assistance throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities
- Morning and afternoon transition support
- Personal care and toileting assistance
- Feeding support during breaks
- Ensuring strict allergy protocols are followed
- Supporting learning inside and outside the classroom
- Building confidence and independence
- Collaborating with school staff and external professionals
Required profile
- Previous experience in SEN, care or support roles
- Confidence providing personal care
- Patient, empathetic approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
