About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Tower Hamlets, starting September 2026. The role runs through the 2026/27 academic year and offers the chance to support pupils with additional learning needs in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with pupils who require extra support, delivering tailored learning strategies.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing SEN‑focused activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to enhance pupil progress.
- Help maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- Patient, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
