SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 12 Support Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a Year 12 female student with additional learning needs in Wandsworth. This full‑time, long‑term position starts as soon as possible and focuses on helping the student access learning, build independence, and develop confidence both academically and socially.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 support across a range of subjects and activities.
• Adapt learning approaches to meet the student’s individual needs.
• Encourage independence, positive decision‑making and confidence.
• Support emotional regulation and maintain a calm, structured environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO and other professionals.
• Promote social development and communication skills.
