About the role
This position is for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant supporting a Year 2 class in a good‑rated primary school in Preston. The role starts in September and runs for the full academic year, providing one‑to‑one assistance to pupils who need additional support.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one support to Year 2 pupils with SEN needs.
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the teacher.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide professional references.
- Ability to supply a CV covering the last ten years of employment.
- Commitment to attend a registration interview.
