SEN Tutor / Job Coach – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor and Job Coach to work with learners who have special educational needs in Leeds. The role is permanent and focuses on helping participants develop employability skills, secure work placements and progress towards sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored employability and functional skills training to learners with special needs.
• Support individuals in finding, securing and maintaining work placements or internships.
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Facilitate workshops that build essential workplace competencies.
• Collaborate with employers and educational institutions to create supportive internship opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching employability or functional skills to learners with special needs.
• Demonstrated ability to support individuals facing barriers to employment.
• Experience in developing training programmes or workshops is advantageous.
• Hold a Level 3 teaching qualification.
