SEN Tutor – One-to-One Tuition in Faversham

About the role

We are seeking passionate SEN Tutors to deliver one‑to‑one tuition for children with Special Educational Needs in Faversham and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible part‑time or full‑time hours, typically 10 teaching hours per week with an additional paid hour for planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised, needs‑based tuition sessions for students with Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.

Required profile

• Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong understanding of EHCPs and targeted interventions.
• Excellent communication and a patient, supportive approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
