SEN Tutor – One‑to‑One Tuition in Rochester

About the role

We are seeking passionate SEN Tutors to deliver personalised, one‑to‑one tuition for children with Special Educational Needs in Rochester and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible hours, with most assignments covering 10 teaching hours per week plus paid planning time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide needs‑based, one‑to‑one tuition sessions for students with EHCPs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals to support progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Required profile

• Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Excellent communication, patient and supportive approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
