SEND Base Teacher – Primary School (Full‑time)

About the role

This full‑time position is based in a welcoming primary school in Moreton, delivering specialist provision for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism and learning difficulties. You will work closely with support staff and the SENCO to create engaging, differentiated lessons that enable every child to reach their potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Collaborate daily with teaching assistants and the SENCO to monitor progress.
• Adapt resources and assessment methods to suit individual learning profiles.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and interventions.
• Contribute to the development of inclusive classroom strategies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Proven experience supporting children with SEND.
• Patience, adaptability and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
