SEND Learning Support Assistant – Temporary Supply Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join a growing network of SEND support staff on a temporary, full‑time supply basis. You will work in local schools across Kent and Medway, helping children and young people with additional needs thrive in their educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with special educational needs.
• Assist classroom teachers with adapting lessons and resources.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with school staff and external professionals as required.

Required profile

• Experience working with children who have SEND, or a strong desire to make a difference.
• Reliable, adaptable and caring attitude.
• Ability to follow safeguarding procedures.
• Willingness to work across a variety of school settings.
