SEND Nursery Assistant – Part‑time (4‑5 hrs/day)

About the role
This part‑time position supports children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a welcoming nursery in Lambeth. You will work alongside teachers, the SENCO and the wider team to help children access play‑based learning and develop confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to children with SEND throughout the nursery day.
- Assist children in communication, social, emotional and developmental activities.
- Collaborate with class teachers, the SENCO and staff to ensure individual needs are met.
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages peer interaction.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience supporting children with SEND in an Early Years setting.
- Patient, nurturing and inclusive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for early childhood development.
