SEND Teacher (Early Career) – Part‑time in Liverpool

About the role
Join a supportive team delivering specialist education in SEND schools across Liverpool and Knowsley. This part‑time Early Career Teacher (ECT) position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to develop your teaching practice while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with senior staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted feedback.
- Participate in ECT induction activities and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of teacher training within the current academic year.
- Genuine interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Patience, drive and determination to develop as a teacher.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and register on the Update Service.
Required skills
- Understanding of SEND pedagogy and strategies.
