SEND Teacher – Inclusive Education (Temp, Full‑Time)

About the role
EdStaff is partnering with SEND provisions and mainstream schools across West Lancashire and Sefton to provide dedicated SEND Teachers for September 2026. This temporary, full‑time role offers the chance to work with small groups of pupils, delivering a bespoke curriculum that meets each child's individual needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inclusive and tailored learning opportunities for pupils with SEND.
- Create a calm, supportive learning environment aligned with each pupil's EHCP.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure inclusive education for all learners.
- Provide continuity of provision in the absence of regular staff, ranging from short‑term to long‑term assignments.
- Assist with general school duties and adhere to safeguarding and school policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UK.
- Strong commitment to supporting children with SEND.
- Excellent classroom management and relationship‑building skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
Required skills
- Ability to adapt learning activities to a wide range of needs.
- Knowledge of EHCP implementation and inclusive teaching strategies.
