SEND Teacher – Specialist Resource Provision (London)

About the role

Join an inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to lead a new specialist resource provision class for pupils with complex SEND. As the class teacher you will create personalised, highly differentiated learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for a small group of pupils.
• Build a nurturing, structured classroom environment where pupils feel confident and secure.
• Work closely with four experienced Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress.
• Collaborate with a parallel SEND teacher to share ideas and develop curriculum.
• Support pupils’ communication, emotional regulation, independence and academic achievement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Passion for inclusive education and commitment to high standards.
