SEND Teacher – Summer Term & September Opportunities

About the role
Reed is seeking qualified SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) teachers for placements during the Summer Term and for September starts across schools and specialist settings in South East England. These roles can be full‑time or part‑time and are designed to match your experience and career aspirations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess tailored lessons for pupils with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff and families to develop individual education plans.
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions to ensure inclusive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi‑disciplinary team meetings.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialism in SEND.
- Experience working with children who have a range of additional needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work across different schools or specialist settings.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning for SEND pupils.
- Behaviour management strategies.
- Knowledge of statutory SEND frameworks and assessments.
