About the role
Join a thriving SEND school in South East London as a Teaching Assistant. You will provide dedicated 1:1 and classroom support to pupils with EHCP plans, autism spectrum disorder, and complex medical needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 assistance and classroom support for SEND students.
- Provide personal care tasks as required.
- Support the implementation of individual education plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with the transition of new classrooms opening in September.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in SEND or a care setting.
- Ability to perform personal care duties safely.
- Willingness to work the set hours of 08:30‑15:30.
- Commitment to supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs.
