About the role
Join a thriving SEND school in South East London as a Teaching Assistant providing dedicated 1:1 and classroom support for pupils with EHCP plans, autism spectrum disorder and complex medical needs. The role runs full‑time (08:30‑15:30) on a temporary contract.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one assistance to students with SEND, following individual education plans.
- Support the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management.
- Provide personal care tasks as required, ensuring student safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the SEND team to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with SEND pupils or in a care setting.
- Ability to perform personal care duties safely.
- Willingness to work the specified hours (08:30‑15:30) on site.
- Commitment to a temporary, full‑time contract.
