SEND Teaching Assistant – ARP, Harrow (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well‑established Additional Resource Provision (ARP) in a welcoming two‑form entry primary school in Harrow. You will work closely with an experienced SEND Teacher and the SEN team to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties.

Key responsibilities

• Support a small class of 10‑12 pupils, delivering 1:1 and small‑group assistance.
• Help pupils achieve their EHCP targets and develop independence.
• Promote academic, social and emotional development for each child.
• Collaborate daily with the SEND Teacher, SENCO and wider staff team.

Required profile

• Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker.
• Proven experience supporting children with ASC, ADHD, MLD or SLD.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for inclusive education.
