About the role
A supportive primary school in Bebington is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team from September. The role involves working closely with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities, providing tailored support to help them achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons to SEND pupils.
- Implement individualized education plans and monitor progress.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support as required.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil development and interventions.
- Collaborate with parents, specialists, and staff to ensure a cohesive approach.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Demonstrated experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Patient, nurturing, and empathetic attitude.
Required skills
- Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching materials for diverse needs.
