About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Darwen. You will play a crucial role supporting pupils with additional needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted SEND support on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist with classroom inclusion and behaviour management.
- Implement tailored learning strategies.
- Encourage pupil independence and confidence.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND.
- Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or SEMH strategies.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications and training for the role.
