SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time (Daily Rate £90‑£130)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Greenwich on a full-time temporary basis. You will support classroom activities and help create a nurturing learning environment for children with special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering educational activities.
• Support students’ academic and social development both inside and outside the classroom.
• Tailor instruction to meet individual student needs in collaboration with teachers.
• Prepare lesson materials, set up equipment, and organise classroom resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Supervise students during non-classroom times, including activities and field trips.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Patience, understanding and capability to manage groups of students.
• Proactive and collaborative approach with teachers and staff.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
