About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Hemel Hempstead. This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils one‑to‑one or in small groups to access the curriculum.
- Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
- Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred.
- Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
