About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Leyland. This temp‑to‑perm position offers stability and the opportunity to develop within a supportive educational environment, working directly with children who have additional learning needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with SEND.
- Adapt and personalise learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to plan and deliver interventions.
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Worker.
- Familiarity with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and SEND frameworks.
- Caring, proactive attitude towards supporting pupils.
