SEND Tutor & Mentor for Vulnerable Youth (Hillingdon)

About the role
Quantum Scholars is seeking dedicated SEND Tutors, Mentors and Support Workers to provide one‑to‑one tuition and emotional support for vulnerable young people in the Hillingdon area. You will work within the Alternative Provision network, helping pupils who face barriers such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma or behavioural difficulties.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition and mentoring tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Provide SEND intervention, academic assistance and emotional support.
- Support EOTAS and Alternative Provision programmes.
- Conduct sessions in homes, schools, community venues or online, depending on the learner’s circumstances.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children or young people.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check (or already hold one).
- Ability to travel within Hillingdon and surrounding areas.
