Senior 3rd Line IT Engineer – Infrastructure & Cyber Security

About the role

Ready to own more than the ticket queue? Bulk, a leading active nutrition brand, is looking for a Senior 3rd Line IT Engineer to take ownership of its infrastructure and cyber‑security environment. You will work across cloud, networks, endpoints and security while supporting a fast‑moving digital business.

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade and strengthen email security and manage security aspects of AI integrations.
• Lead the upcoming Cyber Essentials project and oversee incident response, budgeting and contracting.
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure, security tooling and act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex issues.
• Collaborate with the IT Service Desk Team Lead and wider team to ensure resilience and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience operating at a 3rd Line Engineer level.
• At least one cyber‑security certification (e.g., Cyber Essentials).
• Hands‑on experience with the majority of the listed technologies and a strong foundation in both cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Willingness to work occasional out‑of‑hours and travel to London.

Required skills

• Azure, Google Workspace, networking, VPNs.
• CrowdStrike, Cisco, VMware vSphere, Windows Server.
• Jamf, Intune, Automox.
• Incident response, threat analysis, IOC investigation.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Experience with AI tooling such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Codex.
• Netskope CASB/SSE (SSL/TLS inspection, DLP, Zero Trust).
