Senior Account Manager

About the role

Join Close Brothers' Commercial Team as a Senior Account Manager, supporting direct sales teams across regional hubs throughout the customer onboarding journey. You will lead a team of Account Managers, liaising with new and existing customers to drive business, manage proposal submissions, and ensure smooth facility activation.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Credit, Operations, customers, brokers and suppliers to resolve proposal or documentation issues.
• Allocate work, monitor service levels and ensure timely customer outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to enhance performance.
• Implement structured performance reviews with clear objectives and development plans.
• Collaborate with Direct Sales leadership to deliver exceptional service to customers and brokers.
• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding company values and a positive image.
• Understand and comply with operating procedures, conduct risk policies and regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and colleagues at all seniority levels.
• Proven experience in customer service, relationship management or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer‑centric approach to issue resolution.
• Numerate and analytical ability.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM software and other customer support tools.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
