Senior Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our client’s team in Guildford. The role is field‑based across the South of England, with one day per week in the office, and focuses on protecting and growing recurring revenue while driving new business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
• Produce proposals, business cases, reports and customer reviews.
• Drive account growth through increased service adoption and commercial development.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver additional value.
• Develop new business opportunities via market research and partnership initiatives.
• Plan, facilitate and lead customer workshops and engagement sessions.
• Support significant projects and change initiatives with effective planning and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to support bids, projects and growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and account reporting for senior management.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and potential risks.
• Resolve issues promptly, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in strategic account management, selling CCaaS/UCaaS solutions.
• Proven track record of selling contracts of £500 K or more.
• Experience working with vendors such as Zoom, 8x8, Five9 and Mitel.
• Executive stakeholder engagement and strong commercial negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to influence and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

What we offer

• £45 K basic salary plus OTE up to £90 K.
• Uncapped commission and £6 000 per annum car allowance.
• Hybrid work model – 1 day per week in the Guildford office.
