Senior Accountant – Chartered Practice

About the role
Accountancy Connections is seeking a newly qualified accountant to join its Taunton practice. This permanent, full‑time position offers a varied mix of accounts preparation, client liaison and business advisory work.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
- Provide business advice and support to clients on financial matters.
- Liaise directly with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified (newly or recently qualified).
- Recent experience in an accountancy practice, preferably within the South West region.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
