Senior Accountant / Client Manager

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA professional to join our global organisation in Reading. In this senior position you will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee the production of monthly management accounts and provide technical accounting support across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounting deliverables and produce monthly management accounts.
• Supervise and support junior team members across global service centres.
• Review tax compliance work, including VAT, Corporation Tax, P11Ds and PSAs.
• Oversee payment runs and prepare year‑end financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Build strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Support billing, debt management and staff development initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience preparing management accounts.
• Multi‑client experience or ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client management skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
• Commercially minded with an interest in growing the business.
