About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well‑established practice in Helston. You will act as a key right‑hand support to directors and senior management, handling year‑end accounts, tax returns, VAT and bookkeeping for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Manage personal and corporate tax compliance and VAT submissions.
- Oversee wider accountancy services using CCH, Sage and other online software.
- Develop and mentor junior team members.
- Build and maintain client relationships across varied industries.
Required profile
- Qualified or part‑finalist in AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, or extensive experience in practice.
- Proven experience at Senior Accountant level within an accountancy firm.
- Strong background in accounts, tax and general practice service delivery.

What we offer
- Competitive salary £30,000‑£38,000, dependent on experience.
