Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will own the UK entity's general ledger, ensuring accurate month‑end close, reconciliations and audit preparation. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support financial reporting and cash‑flow forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Process month‑end activities, prepare and post journal entries.
• Review and manage accruals, pre‑payments and expense reports.
• Reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts, including bank, credit‑card and intercompany balances.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and prepare cash‑flow forecasts.
• Assist external auditors by providing required documentation for the UK statutory audit.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support the preparation of financial statements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a solid understanding of UK GAAP.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Experience in month‑end close, account reconciliations and audit support.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Concur expense management system.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP accounting standards.
