Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in London. You will own the General Ledger function for the UK entity, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting month‑end close, statutory audits, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close process for assigned areas, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain complete documentation for all accounting entries and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews of discrepancies.
• Manage and review intercompany journal entries and related reconciliations.
• Update accounting policies and procedures to align with GAAP and company growth.
• Maintain fixed‑asset master data, including cost centre, useful life, depreciation, and accounting assignments.
• Oversee CIP internal orders from setup through completion.
