Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our supportive and growing team. The role involves preparing accounts and tax returns, liaising with clients, and offers the chance to broaden your experience while progressing within the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders
• Corporation Tax returns
• Self‑Assessment Tax returns
• Making Tax Digital for self‑employed
• Producing management reports
• Liaising with clients on a regular basis

Required profile

• AAT qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with cloud accounting packages such as Xero, Sage & Dext
• Eager to progress, adaptable and willing to develop
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player
• Motivated to make a positive impact on the firm’s future
