Senior Accountant – Redruth

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Redruth office. You will act as a key right‑hand support to directors and senior management, handling a wide range of accounting and tax services for diverse clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Manage personal and corporate tax compliance, including tax returns and VAT.
• Oversee bookkeeping using Xero or QuickBooks.
• Develop and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain client relationships across various industries.

Required profile

• Qualified or part/finalist in AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, or substantial experience in accountancy practice.
• Proven experience at senior accountant level within an accountancy firm.
• Ability to manage a growing client portfolio and support team development.

Required skills

• CCH for accounts and tax.
• Xero bookkeeping software.
• QuickBooks (QB) bookkeeping software.
