Senior Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

Driscoll’s is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to join its Finance team in Maidstone. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and grower settlements across multiple EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy and timely payments in a fast‑moving international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process, review and code supplier invoices, obtaining necessary authorisations.
• Execute payment runs across several EMEA entities and currencies.
• Upload and reconcile payments in banking systems.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to queries from suppliers, growers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Controlling team to ensure policy compliance.
• Support the wider EMEA Accounts Payable team and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• AAT qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, international setting.
