Senior Acoustic Consultant – Bedfordshire (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join a leading specialist engineering consultancy in Bedfordshire. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to lead acoustic projects for high‑profile commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, noise measurements and technical acoustic assessments.
• Produce high‑quality acoustic reports and provide expert advice to clients.
• Manage projects independently from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Attend and present at client meetings, building strong relationships.
• Support and mentor junior consultants.
• Prepare fee proposals, invoicing and manage financial aspects of projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (BSc/BEng) – 2:1 or above preferred.
• Member of the Institute of Acoustics (or working towards membership).
• Strong analytical and technical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing project finances.
• Full UK driving licence.
