Join a leading healthcare provider in a pivotal leadership role dedicated to transforming patient access. As the Acute Access Manager, you will drive the strategic agenda for performance and quality, ensuring that NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde meets and exceeds national standards for patient care and waiting times.

Missions principales

• Define, develop, and manage processes to achieve waiting time objectives and continuous service improvement across the GGC.
• Implement systematic actions to reduce patient waiting times while ensuring compliance with national guarantees and clinical specialty standards.
• Establish and maintain a robust support structure by building productive relationships with Acute Service Directors and Clinical Leads.
• Collaborate closely with operational acute teams to drive waiting list recovery plans without compromising service quality.
• Lead and coordinate private sector service delivery for both internalized and externalized contracts, from initial business case to post-award monitoring.
• Provide critical oversight and compliance support to the Head of Access to accurately measure performance and drive strategic changes.
• Assess the impact of operational changes on organizational capacity and national performance metrics.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in healthcare management, specifically within patient access or operational performance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex service delivery, including private sector contract management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable improvement plans.
