Senior AI Engineer – Hybrid (Glasgow)

About the role

We are partnering with a client that has built a brand‑new AI capability from the ground up over the past 18 months. As the team expands, they are looking for a Senior Developer / AI Engineer to shape how AI is applied across a large, technically advanced enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver production‑grade AI‑enabled solutions for high‑impact projects.
• Implement GenAI features, automation, and scalable, secure systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI services into existing platforms.
• Maintain and evolve APIs, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong foundational background in software development.
• Passion for solving challenging technical problems in a fast‑moving space.
• Ability to work effectively within a high‑calibre, collaborative team.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (including AI services and Foundry)
• .NET and modern backend engineering
• API design and microservices architecture
• DevOps practices and tooling
• GenAI / LLM tooling (RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search)
