Senior AI Engineer

About the role

SF Partners is a fast‑growing e‑commerce group based near Leeds that is investing heavily in AI to boost efficiency and customer experience. The Senior AI Engineer will turn identified AI opportunities into production‑ready solutions, working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, sales and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI solutions using modern large language models such as OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude.
• Collaborate with business units to pinpoint operational challenges and propose AI‑driven improvements.
• Create AI‑powered workflows, agents and internal tools that automate manual tasks.
• Integrate AI components with existing SaaS platforms via APIs and automation tooling.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts and scale successful prototypes into production.
• Continuously evaluate emerging models, frameworks and tools to enhance solution quality and delivery speed.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience building AI applications with large language models.
• Hands‑on expertise with OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude or comparable foundation models.
• Proven ability to deliver AI‑enabled workflows, agents or copilots.
• Solid software engineering background, comfortable with Python or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and SaaS platforms into end‑to‑end solutions.
