Senior Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

We are a family‑run HVAC business seeking a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team in Surrey. You will primarily work on residential and light commercial installations, with the chance to contribute to larger commercial projects through our sister branch.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair air‑conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using schematics, technical drawings and manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, replacements and upgrades.
• Ensure all activities comply with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Lead split‑system installations and support larger commercial HVAC projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing and maintaining Single‑Split and Multi‑Split air‑conditioning systems.
• Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment.
• Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and F‑Gas certification.
• Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus.
