Senior Application Developer (Python/Django/React)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to design, build and maintain web‑based solutions that support our nationwide residential surveying business. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners and other engineers to deliver high‑quality, secure applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new Python/Django and ReactJS applications and enhance existing ones.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, indexing and security audits.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
• Follow change and release management processes for all code deployments.
• Collaborate with BAs to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements.
• Document code, create technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Support and maintain all related applications post‑deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing Python/Django and ReactJS applications.
• Strong understanding of web security, session management and OWASP best practices.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and query optimisation.
• Ability to work independently while providing technical leadership to junior team members.
