Senior Architect

About the role

The practice is a well‑established architectural studio specialising in premium residential design. They are looking for a Senior Architect to lead bespoke luxury home projects in Berkshire, taking ownership from concept through to completion and nurturing key client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of high‑value residential projects across all RIBA stages.
• Act as primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and quality standards.
• Oversee production of design proposals, technical packages, specifications and construction information.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and ensure effective project delivery.
• Provide design leadership, technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Champion sustainable design principles throughout project development.
• Support business development and contribute to the practice’s strategic growth.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with substantial post‑qualification experience in the UK market.
• Proven track record delivering high‑end private residential projects from feasibility to completion.
• Strong leadership and client‑relationship management skills.
• Excellent design, detailing and project coordination abilities.
• Effective communicator with long‑term client partnership experience.
