Senior Architectural Technician – £40k-£50k – Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join a well‑established architectural practice in Darlington. You will own projects from the tender stage through to completion, working on a diverse portfolio that includes healthcare facilities, care homes, student accommodation, residential and industrial developments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage architectural projects from tender to handover, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.
• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings, construction details, schedules and specifications using Revit and CAD.
• Review contractor information, resolve technical queries and liaise with architects, engineers, consultants and clients.
• Support the wider project team by coordinating information flow and maintaining up‑to‑date documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or experienced Architectural Assistant.
• Proven experience managing projects from tender through to completion.
• Background in healthcare, care homes, residential, student accommodation or industrial projects.
• Proficient in Revit and able to commute to Darlington.
