Senior Associate – Insurance Litigation (Glasgow)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Solicitor to join its Glasgow defendant litigation team as a Senior Associate. The role offers a varied caseload covering employers' liability, public liability, motor and disease claims, with opportunities to work on higher‑value and complex matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of EL/PL, motor and disease claims.
• Handle both litigated and pre‑litigated matters.
• Advise insurer, public sector and commercial clients.
• Conduct liability investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Support client relationships and business development initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in insurance litigation.
• Proven experience defending EL/PL claims.
• Confidence in managing an independent caseload.
• Familiarity with Scottish court procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Enjoys collaborative work and supporting junior colleagues.
